In keeping with HB 984, diabetic training for employees designated as UDCAs (unlicensed
diabetic care assistant) is available on DVD entitled Diabetes at School: Bridging the Gap. This includes the pre and
post test as well as skill level testing.
This training is available
to all HISD employees who have a desire to learn about diabetes and the diabetic student.
CPR classes are taught monthly. The class is free to any HISD employee. Call ext.
1414 to register for your class.
